50th Anniversary of Southend Festival Chorus

2019-2020 will mark the choir’s 50th Anniversary
The Choir was founded in 1969 by Dr. Roy Wales and an exciting programme has been planned to mark the occasion with a 50th anniversary performance on Saturday 28th March at 7.30 pm of Handel`s Zadock the Priest, Mozart`s Ave Verum, Mozart`s C Minor Mass, and Haydn`s Nelson Mass

Rehearsals are at St Peter’s Church, Eastbourne Grove, Westcliff 7:30 pm – 9:45 pm on Wednesdays in term time and at other times as notified. Rehearsals are taken by our Musical Director and our accompanist, Rosemary Pennington.

Membership fees are £150 per annum or free for members under 21.
