The Lost Leigh Goose at Clifftown Theatre
Saturday 27th January 2018

Every year 4000 Dark Bellied Brent Geese migrate 2500 miles from northern Siberia to the south Essex coast, in search of warmth, mudflats and delicious eelgrass they so love to eat.  Wild Story Theatre is spreading the word about this incredible journey and the rare goose that loves Southend, in a magical heart-warming theatre adventure that follows one little lost goose who gets left behind and must make the journey alone.  With music, narration and puppetry.

Wild Story Theatre is a new company based in Southend, which aims to produce wild and wonderful local stories about history, folklore and wildlife across Essex.  This showing is a work in progress, following which we will work with community groups to further develop the pay and gain their creative input.  Please come along and support the project.
