My Fair Lady
Wednesday 19th June 2019

The Players Theatre Company return to the Palace Theatre with the beloved musical My Fair Lady. Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmallion the musical tells the story of Eliza, the cockney flower-girl who is transformed into an elegant lady by the wily Professor Higgins. At its heart it is a tale of courage and self-discovery which demonstrates that love can be found in the most unexpected of places! With witty song writing, comical and charismatic performances, beautiful period costumes, and a live orchestra, this classic Lerner and Loewe musical promises to be as enchanting as ever!

The show is filled with many memorable and much loved song’s such as I Could Have Danced All Night, On the Street Where You Live, Wouldn’t it be Loverly, the stylish Ascotte Gavotte and the riotous Get Me to the Church on Time!

This sparkling new production promises to be a hit, so grab your tickets early to guarantee the best seats in the house!

The award-winning Players Theatre Company have previously visited the Theatre with productions of Oklahoma!, White Christmas and Acorn Antiques. And are delighted to be back in this their 20th anniversary year. For more information about the company visit
